Any vehicle newer than roughly 2018 — and many older ones — will require ADAS recalibration after windshield replacement. Here is why:

The glass installation itself takes about 60–90 minutes. Adding cure time and ADAS calibration, plan on 3–4 hours total in-shop. We can typically get you back on the road the same day.
Almost always — comprehensive coverage typically includes glass replacement with a low or zero deductible in Oregon. We bill insurance directly and handle the paperwork. Bring your policy or claim number and we do the rest.
Both are structurally sound. OEM is recommended for late-model luxury vehicles, EVs, and anything with heads-up display or specialized sensors. OEE works well for most everyday vehicles and is often the more cost-effective choice. We will walk you through the options for your specific vehicle.
We follow OEM-specified safe drive-away times for the urethane we use. Depending on temperature and humidity, that is typically 1–2 hours after installation. We will tell you the exact minimum before you leave.
For vehicles that do not require post-replacement ADAS calibration, yes — we come to you. For any vehicle that needs static calibration afterward (most vehicles 2018 and newer), the work has to happen in our shop because static calibration requires a level surface and controlled environment.
A glass installation invoice with the glass part number and manufacturer, urethane batch information, and safe drive-away time. Plus a full ADAS calibration package if your vehicle required it: Revv VIN scrub, TruePoint alignment report, Astech pre- and post-scan reports, and a signed calibration certificate.
